Integris Partners advised Sequel Holdings, L.P., a Dallas-based private equity firm, on the sale of Star Seed, Inc. Founded in 1920 and located in Osborne, Kansas, Star Seed is a leading producer and value-added supplier of farm and conservation seed serving the Central United States. The company offers over 300 varieties of seeds to its customers, which include seed retailers, distributors, farmers, state and local conservation districts, NGOs, and private landowners. Star Seed’s Farm segment provides cleaned and delivered wheat, forages, alfalfa, and cover crops while the conservation segment supplies prescriptive mixes of native grasses and wildflowers used for land restoration, conservation, and habitat creation.
